MUSIC WORKSHOPS
I have over 20 years experience leading music workshops. I have specialised in working with people with learning difficulties. I work both within established services and in community arts projects. My approach is integrative and has been aimed towards the development of a shared artistic language. I believe in a culture in which we can all speak and our voices be heard, in which we can all listen and feel part of something meaningful. As with all my work, I give primacy to human expressiveness and our desire to connect with each other.
Recorded examples of music from this aspect of my work include 'Loss of the Church' - Echo City, 'We are happy now' Gascoigne music group, 'All around the world' - Flexitones.
